Yea that (479 Beta) is just crazy....

...The historical high was over 600 but I can't seem to find the date(s) on those reads right now (very busy today).

Could be a combination of dust laden winds and spring pollen.

Pollen will contain rads from the plants that absorb them over time so I expect to see more spikes around the country in the next few weeks.

Particularly from beta stations...

It looks like they changed the filter as the reads dropped quickly to 10 on 5-1

Sure would like to "get ahold" of a filter from that area for isotope testing.

Anyone in the San Angelo, TX area that has a dirty filter (at least 1 month old) still in use please contact me...

Here's a quick read on a cedar pollen study done around Fuku...

Over 150 BETA so this could be a slow traveling progression of whatever is causing these reads...

Definitely something to watch...

Also seeing some elevated reads up north with...

Right on the edge of problem reads...

Look at: Deviation 30.1

I'm thinking pollen, maybe I'm missing something...

Let me know what you think...
