THE NEW INTERNATIONAL PERVERSION
Dr. Mollenkott
The New International Perversion
The most highly promoted and publicized perversion of the Bible today
is called the NIV, promoted by all evangelical, conservative groups.
We thought the Christian might like to know some things about the book
that can't be found among those who promote it.
One of the literary consultants for the NIV translating committee is a
lesbian like Janet Reno. Her name is Dr. Mollenkott. In the
Episcopal Witness (June 1991, pp. 20-23), another woman, Sue Pierce,
asked her, "Why was it important to both of you to come out as
lesbians?" The sex pervert's reply was, "My lesbianism has always
been a part of me. I tried to kill myself in my teens because they
told me I'd never be healed, that God had no use for people like me.
I couldn't stand the thought of living a life that was useless and
offensive to God. I tried to be heterosexual. I married myself off.
But what I did ultimately realize was that God created me as I was,
and that this is where life was meaningful."
That is, having rejected the entire Holy Bible, from cover to cover,
this woman insists that God made her one of the vilest sinners of one
of the vilest sins condemned anywhere in the Book, from cover to
cover. How did this Mollenkott mess with the
book? In her book "Is The Homosexual My Neighbor?" she says that queers
simply got bad press in the Bible. She explains in detail that Jesus did
not condemn sex perversion as a loving relationship between two
"consenting adults." Let's see you find that in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
John.
When faced with Romans 1:26,27, in her own Bible perversion (the NIV),
this twisted lesbian says "the key thought here seems to be lust,
unnaturalness, and, in verse 28, a desire to avoid the acknowledgement
of God. But although the censure fits idolatrous people with whom Paul
was concerned here, it does not
seem to fit the case of a sincere homosexual Christian." The verse fits
homosexuals. The fact that the person is a hypocrite who professes
Christ, or is a professing Christian has nothing to do with it. The
verse is dealing with homosexuals. This female sodomite says from page
59 of her work, "Jesus refers to Sodom not in the context of sexual acts
but in the content of hospitality." On page 71 she said, "the idea of a
life long homosexual orientation or condition is never mentioned in the
Bible."
There it is. That is a literary consultant for the NIV. She and Janet
ought to get together because they have a lot in common, but it has
nothing to do with scripture except sodomy and sodomites.
