Hiya,, first post from Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
I received my GMC-320 just now. Currently charging the battery. CPM is 19 at the moment.
My PI should arrive within next couple of days.
The 320 only has 1 usb port and first question I have is,, does the PI power the gmc-320?
Thanks muchly vicky in ottawa

I setup my station via notebook just to see how it runs. The cpm isn't accurate I am running 12 to 20 cpm here, so not sure why it's reporting such high values?

Why do you think that is high? What did you think it would be? When you unit is connected to Netc.com, it takes 3 month to find out what your background radiation level (NORM) will be?
I glad you got your unit, I have not receive my GMC-320 for testing, but the GMC-300E works great and is $17 cheaper. Harlan

HIya Harlan,,
On the 320's display, I am running 12 to 20 cpm. I am indoors too.
It is reporting 120 cpm on the network?
Should receive the PI within afew more days.
Yeah the 320 is nice,, great service from the vendor too!

It is a problem in the Free Wapp4netc.exe software. You need to close the program down and restart it and quit moving the USB cable around. The PI has this problem fixed. We will fix the Wapp4netc.exe in the future. It is a known bug when moving the USB cable.

KK that makes sense,
I will shut down, and reboot and reconnect.
I had been running the GMC software and the NETC had a hard time finding the com port.

Turn off everything, then turn on Geiger counter after you plug it into the same computer port. Harlan

Ottawa is now up and running.
Didn't have to pay duty on the PI either,, BONUS!!!
Changed the baud rate on my GMC320 to 57600 and seems to be working ok. Wireless also seems to be connected and communicating.
Thanks Harlan for the email today.
