Today in the a.m. I replaced the filter with a new one. Harlan/hey has told me that he expects a radiation wave to hit the West Coast within 72 hours. I wanted to make sure I have a brand new filter in before this expected event happens. Time will tell if it really hits or not.

looks like it is hear now, you are at Alert level at the moment. Actually looks like i got the alert notification this morning around 5:15 am.

So if the radiation is moving from West to East I expect to see a spike in my readings in a few hours to a few days as we have seen in the past.

My station (1:EB072480) in Waterford, MI. has returned to normal since a spike was seen starting in January and going through late February. I haven't responded to the thread below yet (been busy working 70+/week) but I can say that there as been absolutely no change in my home environment or the location on my GMC-200. I don't even have forced air heat so no filter change issues as well. But it does seem most times your station spikes mine does a few days later...

I'll be watching...

Everyone should test there house for radon since this is a type of radiation that we can measure and control the levels of easily in our homes. With all radiation please use caution and assume the worst.

I know my basement radon level in real-time. It currently is 1.7 pCi although my NETC station is outside.

King,
What are you using for real-time radon monitoring?

I found this on ebay and was seriously considering picking one up.

Well just as I posted previously on March 11, 2015 (per advance notice from Harlan/hey about radiation patterns he witnessed) my outside stations normal background radiation readings did rise as seen on my graph below.
