So, according to this, there are 124 EPA collection units, plus 40 mobile units, and they are all manned by volunteers? And the filters in these items are to be changed 2x/week by volunteers and are often not? I did not see if that was both Gamma monitors and Beta Monitors - and I don't know if they are the same meter. Is there another corroborating source for this information? This is really something. . .

Monitoring Sites All Active : 279 Active Private: 58 Active EPA Beta: 45 Active EPA Gamma: 105 Active Japan Limited: 71 Active Japan Full: 2678
These numbers are higher than they have been. About 4-5 days ago, there were all the way down to 79 Active EPA Gamma on one day. And Beta was down to 30 at the same time. On the other hand, Active private has gone from 44 up to 58 in the same time period.
