Checked the map around 11 am today 2-19-14 this station had extremely high readings and dropped in a short time. Gone by 12:30 and back to 15 15 CPM NETC.COM © 2014 Station ID 1:16C25071.14 Newport News, VA, US Click here for data charts CPM: current 15 Low 2 High 143 Average 17, Deviation 7.8 Average over last 10 minutes: 17 9 miles from Surry Nuclear Plant. Concerning... Any explanations on this? |

Not sure for this site as the description doesn't list what type of counter is in use but on my station (1:EB072480) i had a similar event that was caused by the cover of my GMC-200 using a G-M tube coming off and getting exposed to direct sunlight coming through my window.
