Is this real? Who is this and how can we verify it is a real reading? Station ID 1:9CA41E6A Groningen, NL Click here for data charts CPM: current 25 Low 7 High 8170 Average 2818 GQ GMC-320+V4 GM tube: M4011 Usage: indoor Call: PA3GET Last updated: 2017-05-02 22:47:49 GMT+0200 My Mazur PRM 9000 reads an average of 50 CPM and a maximum of 63 CPM, today May 2nd 2017, in Haarlem, Netherlands (far away from Groningen) Psylark

The high readings are not supported by other nearby detectors (radmon.org, uradmonitor.com, eurdep, gcmaps.com), so it's likely either user testing or malfunction. |

Exactly, people must use their knowledge of detectors and radiation to decipher through the data a little before jumping to conclusions. Using this forum to question and comment about a questionable detection or site is why this forum was created. This forum works well too for keeping a record of a users private radiation monitoring stations maintenance records, like I do with mine. |
