I'd have to agree with your synopsis. Updated images attached.

@westcoastuser - Yes, but from the chart members page, if you uncheck everything but the private NETC stations you do not see that pattern. The reason is because these stations showing the rise are EPA gamma stations that are outside. Most of the NETC private stations are inside a house, BIG difference in detections. I see that too right now looking at the free NETC public map compared to intellicast radar. My outside NETC private geiger counter station on the air purifier filter would show the same rise as the EPA sites, this is why we need more private stations outside on air purifiers! Want to see how much of a difference having an outside geiger counter station on an air purifier makes with even the GMC-200 $85 geiger counter? Look here: https://www.netc.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=460 What to see a really good weather radar to use for the U.S. http://www.intellicast.com/Local/WxMap.aspx?basemap=0014&layers=0039,0119,0017 |

I am crossing my fingers that my unit does not quit working in the -19F I am currently having: https://www.netc.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=203&start=40 |

ALERT! ELEVATED RADIATION IN RAINWATER. It's been raining hard here in Vancouver, BC since yesterday. Last night, I measured 39 CPM over a 10 minute timed count on a rain dampened swipe. Today, I measured 70 CPM in another sample!!! Background is 30.9 CPM. I note the current cold front stretches from Guam to here. |
