You all notice that the Central and South East readings on a general level have been ~20-30% higher above averages this past week? Been watching the map and noticed this trend for a week now. Today, while in Itasca, IL the GMC300E in my car went off registering 149 then in Carol Stream by Dupage Airport it went off again, this time 130-136. Normal readings are in the 20's for that area. Overall, just seemingly odd and trending in the wrong direction unfortunately. Anybody else noticing a similar pattern? |

no readings were in the high 20's in the area. Also, my mistake the airport was Schaumburg airport, not DuPage. |

This is concerning because my regular waist high background readings are between 15-27 CPM using the same type of geiger counter as you. Have your readings returned to the middle 20's? Side note: I find the graph display setting on the GMC-3xx to be useless, I prefer for myself using the large CPM display function with the backlight locked on. |

I am not in that area today, so I can't tell. |
