I am using Windows 8 and upgraded(or Down graded depending how you look at it) to Windows 8.1. Simply go into device properties and click on "Advanced" and tell it to ROLLBACK DRIVERS. I am getting pretty good at figuring out this finicky program. I don't come to this forum everyday but will respond if you need help.....take care...Mike.

:?: Windows 8 default drivers would not allow the GMC-300E to work with the FREE NETC Windows software?

Windows 8 works fine....but if you download 8.1....it does something to the drivers and updating software does no good....says it already has the best driver for device and won't see the GMC-3000E.
