A website purporting to be a radio station issued a report stating that "RadCon-5 Alert" had been issued for the Pittsburgh, PA region on 1/8/2016. I cannot find any corroborating sources.
I believe this to be a bogus report. Was there any alert issued?
The website is www/superstation95com.

Netc.com issued a alert to its subscribers for Pittsburgh, PA because the radiation level exceeded the background radiation range for that location. Netc.com monitors over 3000+ locations around the world and sets radiation background ranges every night. When the current radiation level exceeds the background radiation range, an alert to issued. Here is the chart for Pittsburgh, PA over the last year. Do you think Netc.com was correct in issuing the alert?
