I'm glad you pointed out the radon theory. My recent test shows the elevated radiation level (twice the background level) fall close to background level when re-tested after 3 days. So I guess that's radon.

I'll keep an eye on it with future samples.

what level gamma range does the epa measure radon? 3, 4, 6? I believe 5 is cesium?
