The robot got stuck so they are not going to try to retrieve it? Are you sure?

ANYBODY that knows ANYTHING about this situation knows that ANYTHING that gets close to these reactors can NEVER be retrieved. Ya simply can't get near them (reactors or anything they put in them).

But, they planned to retrieve a robot sent into one of the cores?

That kinda crap only gives people something to talk about...

Let's not forget the electronics fry in a few moments amid the current levels of radiation...

By then (years later) there is nothing to retrieve and advances in technology would make it a paperweight (or doorstop) even if it wasn't contaminated (and completely fried) with the most dangerous substances on earth...

Anybody remember the 286?

...You simply can't be around one of these machines after it's been exposed to these radioactive metal poisons period!!! We know this, it's not new science!

I often wonder when (or if) people will no longer tolerate these deceptions.

And also wonder when people will hold those responsible accountable for these child (and world) killing deceptions/lies!

A turd is a turd AND even if it looks like a brownie, It's still a turd...

Here's a good one (Fukushima Disaster Update, April 2015) on this latest LIE!!!

Someone was actually going to retrieve it (the robot) but it stopped? Really?

Pure crap!!!

Sorry, had to get that one off my chest...

It is not in the reactor (core) it is in the containment, along with its brother, 2x 3million each or so they say.

Ugly might be genetic, stupid has no limit.

They recently won approval to restart a reactor(or 2)

These people are not stupid. They are smart, educated people and know when they pull these publicity stunts they are giving the press something that sounds good to report.

Oh "we are sending a robot in to find out what's going on in there"...

...We already know what's going on in there. We knew shortly after it happened what was going on (and going to continue) in there.

Hey here's a idea, lets build a ice wall around it? Really sounds good to the press. But even they (the press) know (to some degree) that's bunk...

Makes it sound like they can work a miracle instead of a cover up and a money suck (that's all this junk is).

So I don't think it's stupidity, they know (and most anyone with a working brain knows) that they can do NOTHING MEANINGFUL about this situation.

Why has the international community of experts not rushed over there to save their own children down the road? Because they are experts and already know that there is nothing they can do...

We are ALL on the clock now and all we can do is try to eliminate our exposures any way we can...

And hey!!! While I'm ranting...............

You are going to send a 3 million dollar device to it's certain death on a turd hunt that we already have the math to answer?

How hard could it be to rig some light equipment with remote control and send em in to dig a Zeolite trench around these buildings? One operator may go through 10 a day (like a video game) due to the rad levels but if the robots cost 3 million each how many teramites (backhoe/front end loader combo) could you send in to do the job (and easily pull outta the way after they fried from exposures)...

These robot publicity stunts are approaching the absurd...

...definitely unbelievable by most (me included)!

On the brink of another crazy and unbelievably expensive fix for our nuclear woes?

Here's just another example of over complicating simple problems...

...Don't get me wrong, I think that ALL true scientist deserve our respect and support but...

...Sometimes our smartest people can't see the forest for the trees!!!

Astrophysicists were puzzled for over 17 years about readings received from their billion dollar endeavor.

"Since 1998, astrophysicists at Australia's Parkes Observatory have been detecting mysterious bursts of radio waves (named "perytons") that seemed to emanate from all parts of the sky. They lasted for just fractions of a second and happened once or twice a year."

They Looked for answers everywhere and had quite a few outrageous theories but right in front of them was the truth and the answer, they studied this data (on and off) for almost two decades.

Finally graduate student Emily Petroff of Swinburne University of Technology found the answer...

...you won't believe how simple it was.

http://www.vox.com/2015/5/5/8553609/mic ... n-perytons

Sometimes it takes a fresh perspective and SIMPLICITY to solve these riddles.

Let's apply this simplistic thinking (ice wall?) to FUKU and other nuclear problems and save the world before it's too late!!!

AND CLEAN UP THE MESS ALREADY CREATED BEFORE MOVING ON!!!

Sorry, had to throw this one in there...

If they want an icewall that works, it is no problem, been around for a long time.

If they want one up and working in weeks, no problem.

The technology is not the problem, they are the problem standing in the way of success.

Which brings the question, why is that?

I have been involved with ground control/liquid nitrogen walls. 100% success. How deep, how long, your wallet is the limit, at -320f, it is simple.

Not related to me, good info though:

They have a mission, it is misinformation, confusion, and furthering their goal,,,,more nukes.

Hey great post man!!!

I like you!!!

Great to hear info from someone that is hands on....

I think the real problem is fear! Fear of the public finding out the old lies like "no one really gets hurt or killed by these things" limits the success, not the damaging results. No one wants to go to their certain death, and the publicity only hurts this truth.

Here's just one job unnoticed and purposefully not fully monitored...

https://youtu.be/h9yW0_NHFxg

I can't imagine sending someone in and (not only) not telling them the true danger but covering it up afterwards... TELL THE TRUTH and the right people will step up.

...The world itself needs more honest people (like you) to step up and maybe we can survive these problems not only in Fuku but everywhere else too!

Maybe if we all RAnt ENUF WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

I wonder if we can convince terrorists to actually save the world...

...That would be a good one as they are willing to die to cause nothing but pain. Education may would cause them to save it instead ;-)

By the way...

....traveled quite a bit and the best freezer I ever owned was a old ammonia RV fridge...

...ran it on Propane "full time", tiny flame, could run for months off a simple BBQ grill bottle.

Freezing cold (-33) from heat in 1 hour? Great stuff...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....But you must remember, Ammonia is scary and deadly and gets in the way of profits on compressors, R12, R22, R138, R everything, R replacement, and most of all, ELECTRIC.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_refrigerants

Small LIon battery pack, solar, no moving parts, could last almost forever.

It is about money, same thing causing all the problems.
