I noticed this and wondered why this could be happening. Does the owner of the monitor have an idea? I thought it would go back down; but, since it didn't maybe it was a reset. Why would that be?

Thanks for posting this. Since the graph shows a climb that is so sudden and has remained there, it does not look realistic to me. This will need to be looked at, thanks again. We recently had our county fair so I have been mostly absent from the forum for the past week, sorry everyone.

I noticed it has gone back down to the more historic levels. Was it something environmental or in the monitor unit itself? Or something else?

When a private monitoring station jumps about 100 cpm, it is most of the time an error in the station. The GC needs to be reset and the computer needs to be rebooted.

Real radiation readings always include a climb and most importantly, a slow decline as the radiation decays away. Any other graph readings could be an instrument malfunction or Windows glitch.

Harlan, netc.com Harlan, Were you going to try and contact the station operator and notify them of it? Maybe they will want you to erase that timeline with the faulty readings.
